Stat-testing within category

I would like to stat-test within each category. For example I have Total, Male, Female, Under 30, 30-50, Over 50.
I want the letters to be to start from the beginning for each category (gender, age) instead of continuing on.

I've selected "Standard Test" and "Test within category" but it is not working. Am I missing a step?
Current situation: (blank- Total, B-Male, C-Female, D-Under 30, E-30-50, F-Over 50)
Would like: (A-Male, B-Female) (A-Under 30, B-30-50, C-Over 50).

Great question. You are performing the correct steps to test within category only. But Report Builder does not have an option to start the letters over at A for each category. This is a feature that should be added. Thanks for mentioning it.
